Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement

ChordPro Editor is licensed under the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

Licensing and Purchase Options

ChordProEditor is available in two editions to serve both individual users and organizations:

ChordProEditor Consumer Edition

Available through the Mac App Store with subscription pricing:

  • Monthly Subscription: $9.99 per month
  • Annual Subscription: $99.99 per year (17% savings)
  • Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

ChordProEditor Business Edition

Available exclusively through Apple Business Manager for organizations, schools, and churches:

  • One-time purchase with no recurring charges
  • Purchased in volume through Apple Business Manager
  • Volume pricing available:
    • 1-5 licenses: $399 per license
    • for 6 or more licenses, please contact us.
  • Not searchable on the Mac App Store - direct link provided upon request

Note: Both editions provide identical functionality. The Business Edition is designed specifically for organizations that cannot use standard in-app subscriptions due to Apple Business Manager requirements.

Additional Terms of Use for ChordPro Editor

Purpose

This program is designed to provide users with the ability to view and edit custom text-based attributes embedded within .pro files generated by Renewed Vision's ProPresenter software. These .pro files are structured using Google's open-source Protocol Buffers (protobuf) serialization format.

Capabilities

  • Reads and parses standard protobuf-formatted .pro files.
  • Identifies editable fields (including "custom attributes") that are otherwise inaccessible through the ProPresenter user interface.
  • Allows modification of displayable text values intended for user-level visibility or integration with third-party services (e.g., Multitracks.com).
  • Does not require or access ProPresenter software, installations, user accounts, APIs, subscriptions, or any online services provided by Renewed Vision.
  • Operates offline, solely on user-owned .pro files.

Limitations and Boundaries

  • Does not reverse engineer, disassemble, or inspect the ProPresenter application, its executable code, or its internal logic.
  • Does not alter or simulate any functionality of ProPresenter, nor does it enable or unlock subscription-based features.
  • Does not access or expose any proprietary or confidential information, as defined in Renewed Vision's Terms and Conditions.
  • Does not circumvent any technical protection measures, license enforcement, or intentional access restrictions within the software ecosystem.
  • Does not modify any part of the software or interact with software services directly.
  • Only interacts with protobuf-structured files, and only to the extent permitted by standard protobuf tools and structures.
  • Does not republish, redistribute, or repackage any content owned by Renewed Vision. All file edits are localized and user-controlled.

Intended Use and Compliance

This tool is intended solely for use by individuals or organizations who already possess lawful access to their .pro files and wish to customize metadata or text elements for noncommercial, internal, or workflow-enhancing purposes (e.g., file management, volunteer support, or integrations with preexisting planning software). It is not intended for commercial resale, redistribution of modified content, or use cases that infringe on intellectual property rights.
